Job creation must be at the heart of a new multi-million euro investment in the midlands, according to Sinn Féin.

€169m euro is being provided under the EU Just Transition Fund, to help Ireland's transition to clean energy.

€68m of that is going towards tourism specifically, with a total of eight midlands counties set to benefit.
