A midlands landscaper is being given bail after appearing in court in over the discovery of a growhouse and drug dealing operation in Westmeath.
The Irish Independent is reporting 26 year old Marius Lukosevicius from Waterside, Tarmonbarry, in Roscommon is being charged with cultivating cannabis at a property in Mooretown in Delvin.
He's facing charges for possession for both personal use, and for sale or supply, as well as as the alleged discovery of €74,000 in cash and over £20,000 for the purposes of money laundering.
After providing a thousand euro cash lodgement, Mr Lukosevicius is remanded on bail to reappear before Mullingar District Court on October 22 for directions from the Director of Public Prosecutions.
