There's been a significant increase in the amount of social housing being delivered by county councils across the midlands.
194 social homes were delivered in the second quarter of this year in the region, compared to 103 in the previous quarter - an increase of 47%.
Offaly leads the way with 83 in Q2, 65 social homes were delivered in Laois, and 46 in Westmeath.
Nationally just under 4,000 homes were brought on stream by local authorities, more than 30 per cent higher than the 2767 in Q1.
