Midlands Local Authorities Working To Salt Roads Amid Cold Snap

Temperatures could drop as low as -8 degrees again tonight.

Crews from the midlands local authorities are continuing to treat roads every morning as December's cold snap lingers.

Motorists are being advised of hazardous conditions, as a status orange low temperature and ice warning is in place from six this evening until noon tomorrow.

Temperatures are expected to fall to -7 and -8 degrees again tonight.
