A midlands man who was killed in a workplace accident last week, will be laid to rest this morning.
Paddy Harney was working at a concrete manufacturing plant in the Bealnamulla area of Athlone, when the fatal accident happened last Wednesday afternoon.
His funeral mass takes place in SS Peter and Paul's Church in Athlone at 11am, followed by his burial in Drum Cemetery.
Patrick is survived by his wife Margaret, sons David and Neil, and daughters Aoife and Aileen.
