A midlands woman created the bench after her brother died following a collision walking home.
A midlands woman has created a bench for those waiting for a lift on a busy road, in memory of her brother who died in an accident.
19-year-old Daragh Lee passed away following a collision on the N80 between Mountmellick and Portlaoise in 2021, while he was walking home from a night out.
The bench will serve as a memorial for Daragh, and can be used by those waiting for a lift while trying to get home from a night out.
His sister, Mountmellick's Lauren Lee says Daragh was always looking out for others:
