Midlands MEP Calls For Major EU Housing Investment To Tackle Crisis

The EU will unveil its Affordable Housing Act this week.

A Midlands MEP says major housing investment should be taken "off the books" of individual member states if Europe is serious about tackling the housing crisis.

It comes as the EU launches its Affordable Housing Act this week.

The Commission estimates that an additional €150 billion annually will be required to meet Europe’s housing needs.
