Joe Biden will meet with president Michael D. Higgins and Taoiseach Leo Varadkar today.
The US President has arrived at Áras an Uachtaráin to meet President Michael D Higgins.
Joe Biden is due to plant an oak tree and ring the Good Friday Agreement Peace Bell.
He will then head to Farmleigh for a bi-lateral meeting with Taoiseach Leo Varadkar.
President Biden will address a joint sitting of the Oireachtas later before a banquet dinner at Dublin Castle.
