The European Parliament has voted to improve passenger rights.
A Midlands MEP is backing new EU air passenger protection rules.
The parliament's transport committee voted this week to strengthen passenger rights, backing compensation for delays of three hours or more.
Negotiations with member states are set to start soon to finalise the text ahead of EU wide implementation.
