A Westmeath hotel is to host a public meeting on what's being described as livestock export crisis this weekend.
A gathering organised by Midlands MEP Ciarán Mullooly will take place this Saturday at the Athlone Springs Hotel at 7:30pm, following Brittany Ferries’ announcement that it will cease transporting animals to France.
Roscommon-Galway TD Michael Fitzmaurice and fellow Independent Ireland TDs and Councillors will also be joining the event.
