Blankets, tents, heating equipment and basic kitchen and cooking utensils are being flown out to Turkey and Syria today.

The largest-ever deployment of Irish aid is being dispatched to Turkey and Syria after the earthquake disaster.

Blankets, tents, heating equipment and basic kitchen and cooking utensils are being flown out today.

They're to be distributed by GOAL and CONCERN teams already on the ground.

A second shipment of Irish stocks from a UN facility in Italy will take place later this week.
