Midlands Ministers To Jet Off For St. Patrick's Day

In total Ministers will visit 74 cities in 44 countries.

The Government has announced the largest ever programme of St Patrick's Day trips abroad for Ministers. 

Taoiseach Leo Varadkar will fly to Washington DC to meet the US President Joe Biden with Tánaiste Micheál Martin visiting New York and Boston.

In total Ministers will visit 74 cities in 44 countries pushing the theme of '100 years of Ireland in the world'.

Offaly Senator and Minister of State for Agriculture Pippa Hackett is heading for Kenya & Tanzania, while Fine Gael Longford Westmeath TD and Minister of State for EU Affairs Peter Burke will visit Italy and The Holy See. 

Meanwhile, Minister of State for Food and the Marine and Kildare South Fine Gael Deputy Martin Heydon will fly to Korea, while Minister of State for International Development and Diaspora and Laois Offaly Fianna Fail TD Seán Fleming is going to Brazil.
