The Enterprise Minister says the Midlands is a key focus for him in the Government's new plan for tourism.
A section of the 'A New Era for Irish Tourism" policy is focused on projects under the EU Just Transition Fund for Laois, Offaly and Westmeath.
Allocations include €38m under Regenerative Tourism business supports and €30m for a Tourism Trails Network.
