Over €700,000 in funds is set to come to the midlands as part of the Outdoor Recreation Infrastructure Scheme.
Minister of State Jerry Buttimer, is making the announcement for multiple projects across Laois, Offaly and Westmeath, which is expected to support small-scale repair and development of recreational amenities.
Laois will receive highest amount in the midlands, with over €312,000, while Offaly is set to get over €310,000, with Westmeath receiving over €117,000.
