One of the gang's vehicles was spotted in Laois, before being involved in a burglary in Offaly.
A home in Offaly was the target of a Dublin-based burglary gang this week.
The group, which is based in Tallaght, are believed to use two high-powered Audis with fake plates, according to the Irish Independent.
The paper is reporting a Garda alert was in place for one of those vehicles on Monday, after it was seen in Meath, and then Mountmellick and Portarlington.
Gardaí were ordered not to pursue due to safety reasons, and the occupants of the vehicle are suspected of being involved in a burglary in Tullamore at 5pm that evening.
A Garda helicopter was requested to track down the Audi, but wasn't deployed as the vehicle frequently went out of sight of officers, and is believed to be last seen in Rathcoole.
In a statement to Midlands 103, a Garda Spokesperson says:
"Gardaí are investigating a burglary that occurred at a residential property in Killeigh, Tullamore, Offaly on the afternoon of Monday 21st August, 2023.
Investigations ongoing."
