Midlands Records Highest Number Of Children Awaiting CDNT Appointments

2,267 children are awaiting in the Dublin Midlands area.

Over 2,000 children across the Midlands are still waiting for first contact from a Child Disability Network Team. 

Latest figures from the HSE show that the Dublin Midlands area shows 2,267 children waiting for a CDNT appointment in February, the highest number of patients. 

Over 1,700 children on the list have been waiting for over a year in the regional healthcare area, that also covers parts of Dublin, Kildare and the west part of Wicklow. 

The national figure stands at over 8,600, down from over 9,360 at the end of last year.
