Tenancies across the region cost more €1,500 per month.
Midlands rents continue to rise year on year.
Tenants were paying €1,624 in Westmeath, according to the Daft.ie report for Quarter Four of 2024.
That's an increase of 5.5% when compared to the same quarter for 2023.
The average cost of renting a home in Offaly is up to €1,554, up 4.8%.
While in Laois the figure is €1,531 - an annual increase of 3.7%.
