The business has been operating for over a decade.
Another midlands business has announced the decision to close its doors due to rising costs.
The Corner House Bistro in Athlone says the past year has been the most difficult in its 12 years operating in the town, with constantly increasing costs across all areas.
It also says the business is no longer viable due to the increased VAT rate and price of labour and food.
In a post on social media, owners Linda and Joe Connolly are saying goodbye to the 20 staff employed at the restaurant, and its hundreds of loyal customers.
They are also thanking everyone for the laughs and memories throughout their time in Athlone, and are reminding anyone with a voucher to come in and get a refund before the restaurant closes its doors for the final time on Saturday.
