A former Westmeath rugby player has become Alan Sugar's latest victim in the boardroom. 

Conor Gilsenan's hopes of impressing Lord Sugar on The Apprentice were cut short last night after a challenge to design a toothbrush ended in disaster.
 
The former Leinster and Connacht star was fired after ignoring direction from the team lead to design a gender-neutral app for the product.
