Midlands Schemes Given €815,000 To Adapt For Outdoor Summer

It's part of a €13m national fund.

17 schemes in the midlands have been allocated just over €815,000 euro to help businesses adapt to outdoor dining. 

It comes from a €13 million fund announced by the Transport Minister this afternoon. 

Six projects in Offaly will benefit to the tune of €266,455 six more in Laois will receive €490,000 and a further five in Westmeath just below €60,000 euro. 

Green Party leader Eamon Ryan says it'll ensure that local authorities have the resources they need to help communities enjoy a safe outdoor summer.
