Cistercian College in Roscrea stated earlier this year they would now be allowing girls to enroll.

The historic Cistercian College in Roscrea ended a 120-year-old tradition by becoming a co-ed school this year.

Now, for the first time since its inception, at least 45 girls are expected to start the new school term in 2026.

The new rule changes have resulted in record registrations not only for girls, but for boys as well.
