70 events are set to take place across the Midlands this evening to mark Culture Night.
Laois, Offaly and Westmeath are all set to come alive with various events from concerts to poetry readings.
In Offaly, Tullamore's Esker Arts Centre will host open artist studios and exhibitions.
Culture Night Lates for the county brings a mix of music, poetry and storytelling to Birr Theatre and Arts centre curated and MC'd by Shinrone's Ruari O'Shea from 9pm until 11:30pm.

Meanwhile in Westmeath, Imagining Common Grounds is an event the Westmeath County Council Arts Office will hold in Mullingar.
Blasta Brass, Patrick Heffernan, Peter Doran and an Outdoor céilí fills the evening from 6pm until late.
Emma Noonan will also host a Tea Towel Making Workshop at Cuige Studios in the town.

In Laois, folk singer Emer Dunne will hold a concert at St Brigid’s Church of Ireland in Rosenallis.
And poet Felispeaks will host Big Kids Klub, a Social Arts experience at Dunamaise Arts Centre in Portlaoise.
