Cases of Chlamydia and Gonorrhoea have been rising steeply.
There are thousands of more cases of Chlamydia and Gonorrhoea in Ireland compared to the same time last year.
The Health Protection Surveillance Centre's latest report up to September shows cases of Chlamydia have increased by over 40% year-on-year.
While cases of Gonorrhoea are up from over 2,500, to nearly 5,000 in the first 9 months of year.
