Dust build up on food, utensils and kitchen services has led to the closure of a Midlands shop.
Stop 'n Shop Convenience Store on Tullow Street in Carlow Town was issued a closure order on May 8th under the Food Safety Authority of Ireland.
The order notes that the dust is due to extensive ongoing building works taking place that made it 'unfit in its current state' to safely operate as a food business.
It's one of ten businesses across the country that was served a closure order by the FSAI last month.
