Midlands Singer Highlights Incident Of Racism Near Her Home

Her backyard was also 'messed up' afterwards.

A midlands singer says she was called a racial slur by a group of children near her home.

Offaly's Tolu Makay's backyard was also 'messed up' after they threw grass and twigs into it.

She says some of the children involved may not have even been ten years old.

She'll be reporting the incident to Gardaí and Offaly County Council.

Reacting to the incident, Offaly Green Party Senator Pippa Hackett says Racism is never okay, and its impact must have been particularly hurtful being so close to home.
