The conference is being held next Friday.
Midlands sports stars are set to be guest speakers at a European Parliament Conference in Westmeath next week.
Offaly Olympian Gráinne Walsh, alongside Irish rugby star Anna McGann, Westmeath footballer Sarah Dillon, Regina Bushell and Orla Thornton will be contributers when the Conference comes to Mullingar next Friday.
The conference aims to empower women, foster cross-sector leadership connections, and contribute to shaping future policy, with the theme of the meeting "Empowering Women: Connecting and Shaping Future Policy".
The main objective of the event is to create dialogue that informs the development of forward-looking policies advancing gender equality and women’s empowerment across all sectors of society.
The event takes place at the Mullingar Park Hotel next Wednesday from 10am to 2pm.
