A Midlands-based student is taking home a top culinary student award.
Bolivia-born Lesslie Angeles Terrazas Miguel studies at TUS Athlone and has won Bronze at the Knorr Professional Student Chef of the Year contest
She combines the cuisine of her home country with Irish produce in order to create her dishes, assisted by classmate Oisin O'Flanagan and lecturers John Killeen and Shane Sheedy.
