Midlands Students Take Award Winning Robot To World Championship

The competition is in Dallas.

A midlands school will be taking their All Ireland winning robot stateside.

Nine pupils from Tubber National School are travelling to Dallas on Saturday, to compete in the Vex Robotics World Championship 2023.

The students built a robot, called hi-5,  which would win points in a games arena, which is set by Vex.

The event is the largest robotics competition in the world, and pits teams against each other in a series of games.
