Up to one thousand cars were turned away yesterday at Glenbarrow

A Midlands Superintendent is asking people to practice social distancing.

Anthony Petit from Portlaoise Garda Station is making the commnets after a large crowd gathered at Glenbarrow in the Slieve blooms yesterday. 

He says up to one thousand cars were turned away yesterday and the route up to the waterfall was closed:
