The Laois Offaly Deputy's comments follow AIB's decision to scrap plans to make 77 branches cashless.
The lack of communication shown by AIB in their decision to make 77 branches cashless can't happen again.
That's according to Laois Offaly TD Sean Fleming, who says Finance Minister Paschal Donohoe wasn't made aware of the plans until four days after the decision was made.
The bank scrapped plans to make 77 branches cashless, including three in the midlands, due to 'the customer and public unease that it caused'.
