A Tidy Towns committee in a Laois town is making a public appeal for the return of a stolen stone bench.
It had been part of an area outside the Church of St Michael on the Ballacolla Road on Abbeyleix and has been completely repainted by committee member Paul O'Toole.
It's the second time that a bench has been stolen from the same area, after a seperate theft last year.
Gardaí are appealing to anyone with any information or dashcam footage to contact Abbeyleix Garda Station.
