An eating disorder team is being appointed to the midlands region.
The adult eating disorder team will be available across the regional health areas of HSE Dublin and Midlands, and HSE Dublin and North East.
It will serve the counties that have not been served so far, including Laois, Offaly, Westmeath, Louth, Meath and Longford.
This is part of the nationwide rollout of the HSE’s National Clinical Programme on Eating Disorders, and is supported by an additional investment of €1.2 million this year.
