Midlands Under Yellow Warning With Storm Ellen On Her Way

We can expect strong winds until tomorrow.

There's a warning for strong winds and high seas tonight and tomorrow, with a risk of flooding in coastal areas. 

Seven coastal counties in the west and south are under an orange warning for wind, with yellow-level warnings in place for the rest of the island. 

Met Éireann says Storm Ellen is bringing with it a storm surge, heavy swells and onshore winds, raising the prospect of coastal flooding.
