A midlands woman who had to learn to walk and talk again after suffering a stroke, has graduated from university.
Athlone's Carrie Minagh, was diagnosed with a bleed on the brain back in 2014, after experiencing a piercing pain in her head while out shopping.
She recently graduated from Maynooth University, with a degree in Community Development and Youth Work.
