Midlands Women's Refuge Project Receives Over €100,000

The Minister For Justice announced such today.

A new project at a midlands women's refuge centre is in line to benefit from a €100,000 investment.

Justice Minister Helen McEntee visited Esker House in Athlone today, to announce the funding, which comes as part of the Community Safety Innovation Fund.

It will involve raising awareness of domestic violence, and training to recognise it within the community.

30 projects across the country will receive funding under the initiative this week.
