Two clusters in Offaly and Laois are being prioritised in a new report ahead of a draft of a new national woodland expansion plan.
The Environmental Pillar’s Restore Nature: Native Woodlands project lists 29 sites, with 14 marked as priority sites in terms of scale, ecological value, and potential for expansion on public land.
