15-year-old Leon Mc Govern, has been missing since 6pm on Tuesday in the Athlone area.
He is described as having a medium build with light brown hair.
He was last seen wearing a royal blue and navy tracksuit, black runners with a reflective patch on the heel, and a black hooded puffer jacket.
Anyone with information or sightings is urged to contact Athlone Garda Station.
