Prices in the latest daft.ie housing report don't reflect the reality in Laois.
That's the view of Councillor Caroline Dwane Stanley after it revealed the average house price in the county is now over €284,000.
The Independent rep for Portlaoise sat as chair of the housing commitee at the local authority for the past two terms and feels prices are much higher.
