That's the view of the Tourism Development Executive with Laois Chamber Alliance, Regina Dunne.
Calls are being made to move Laois from the Ireland's Ancient East branding to the Hidden Heartlands, as it is a landlocked county.
However, Regina says that despite parts of Laois already falling into Hidden Heartland territory, the county is still entirely managed by the Anicent East:
