
Farmers met in Tullamore last week to discuss the terms of the IFA'S and ICMSA's joint offer.
The majority of farmers in the Midlands are satisfied with the terms set out for the €6 billion Water Supply Eastern & Midlands Region project.
That's the view of IFA Offaly Chair Pat Walsh who oversaw a meeting last week of farmers in Tullamore, to discuss the offer reached with the ICMSA.
Terms include goodwill payments and additional compensation for farmers who will have air valves on their lands.
