A motorist has been arrested by midlands Gardaí after travelling in a vehicle which had not been taxed in over 500 days.
They were stopped by the Laois Roads Policing Unit near Arles yesterday afternoon.
Gardaí say the person behind the wheel was also disqualified from driving.
They've since been arrested and charged to appear before Athy District Court, and their vehicle has been seized.
