An application has been in to redevelop the old Texas site since October.
Concerns are being raised about the proposed redevelopment of the former Texas site in Tullamore.
A submission from Avison Young on behalf of Tesco describes it as a piecemeal proposal and questions if it fits into key development objectives of the town development plan.
They say it could represent a missed opportunity for the regeneration of that area of Tullamore.
Weavermay Ltd is seeking permission for the demotlition of buildings, extensions and sheds; and the constructions of a 1,820 square metre, single-storey retail store; a two-storey retail and office unit; a two-storey cafe; and space for parking.
