Anyone with information is being asked to contact their local Garda Station.
Gardaí are investigating a number of burglaries in Laois.
The first occurred at a home in the Ballycullenbeg area of Mountmellick yesterday afternoon at around 4pm.
While investigating officers are looking into another burglary in Stradbally less than an hour later, at around 4.50pm.
Gardaí are appealing for witnesses, particularly those with camera or dashcam footage, to come forward.

Meanwhile, a man in his 30s has been arrested following a burglary in St. Brigid's Place in Portlaoise yesterday evening.
He's since been charged and brought before a sitting of Tullamore District Court this afternoon.
