National Ambulance Service Reviewing Midlands Operations

The news comes after an ambulance was pulled from a ditch in the midlands.

The National Ambulance Service is reviewing services in the midlands.

New dispatch points are planned for Urlingford and Portarlingon and changes to the maximum call-out distance are expected to be enacted as well. 

The news comes after an ambulance was pulled from a ditch on Saturday morning in Clogheen while on a call from Portlaoise to Robertstown.
