The National Brown Bread Baking Competition, is returning for the 2026 National Ploughing Championships in Offaly.
Sponsored by Euronics Ireland and supported by the NPA and Irish Countrywomen’s Association (ICA), this year introduces a new Junior competition, giving young bakers aged 12-18 the chance to compete
Senior winners will receive €5,000 and a NEFF Slide & Hide oven, while the junior champion will win a €1,500 Euronics voucher plus €1,500 for their school.
The finals are taking place on 17th September at the National Ploughing Championships in Screggan, Tullamore.
