Neurology Patients In The Midlands Being Failed

That's according to the Neurological Alliance of Ireland.

Neurological patients in the midlands are being failed, according to the Neurological Alliance of Ireland. 

There us currently no neurorehabilitation team in CHO Area 8, which includes Laois, Offaly and Westmeath.

Only two such teams have been established in Ireland, though it is believed that nine will be required for full coverage.

At the moment, only 15% of people in the country have access to teams that provide support and care in their recovery process.
