A new campaign, ‘Equality Not Cruelty’, is demanding immediate reform of HIQA.
This comes following an RTE Investigates report which documented multiple instances of abusive practices at The Residence in Portlaoise, and at Beneavin Manor in Dublin.
The campaigners want full disclosure, urgent action, and accountability to protect vulnerable residents.
