Patients at a Midlands hospital are experiencing a faster, more comfortable recovery with a new initiative.

Midland Regional Hospital Tullamore is introducing an innovative Day Case Arthroplasty Programme.

This allows patients undergoing joint replacement surgery to have shorter hospital stays, lower stress levels and early mobilisation.

This patient-centred approach is one of the first in Ireland and aims to revolutionise how knee and hip replacements are delivered.
