If given the green light, a mill could see an extensive upgrade.
Plans have been submitted for a new heritage centre in the midlands.
The renovation and upgrade of the Rochfort Mill in Dalystown county Westmeath would lead to the development of the Rochfort Mill Heritage Centre.
The current three-storey mill building would be repurposed into a museum.
The kiln building would see an extension added and be turned into an exhibit and display area as well as a dining area.
There are also plans to construct a carpark and set down facilities in the entrance.
A decision is due from Westmeath County Council on the 3rd of September.
