Midlands Greenway Plans Criticised By Residents' Group

It's holding a public meeting this evening.

Plans for a new greenway in the midlands have come under fire from a concerned residents group.

The Tullamore to Shannon greenway would see 50-year-old trees felled along the Grand Canal, next to Pearse Park.

The 'Save Our Trees' campaign will take the form of a public meeting in the Town Hall on Cormac Street this evening, at 6pm.
